There’s a new name that rarely fails to appear in new Tottenham boss Enzi Postecoglou’s predicted best 11.

It’s Japanese forward Kyogo Furuhashi, who plays for Celtic in Scotland. After scoring 27 goals in the Scottish top flight in 2022/23, Furuhashi is consistently touted as a first-team regular for Tottenham next season, despite the difference in quality between the Premier League and Scottish leagues.

The Sun, a leading British tabloid, was no different. In a three-man central defense with Harry Kane, Furuhashi has been dropped in favor of Kane.

“Tottenham have made several transfer plans under Postecoglou. They could emerge in a completely new guise,” the newspaper predicted, “and are now looking for reinforcements as they aim to end their long wait for trophies in North London.”

The publication went on to share its predicted top 11 for Spurs’ new season, starting with the goalkeeping position, where Brentford’s Spanish goalkeeper David Laya is likely to replace Hugo Llorente, who is set to leave the club at the end of the season.

“Tottenham’s post-Postecoglou era will not include captain and club legend Kane,” The Sun continued.

“Manchester United are on Kane’s trail, joined by Real Madrid,” the publication said, adding that “Postecoglou will trigger a £20 million transfer fee to bring in Furuhashi as Kane’s replacement,” indicating that the Japanese striker will cost Spurs a whopping £37 billion.

There will also be changes at center back. Harry Maguire, who is expected to leave the club soon, is predicted to form a center-back pairing with Argentine defender Cristian Romero in the back four. Maguire’s strengths as a left-footed player, despite being pushed back to the fourth or fifth defense at United, could be utilized at Tottenham.안전놀이터

As for the other eight players, The Sun predicted that they would be retained rather than transferred.

Destiny Udoji, who is on loan at Udinese in Italy, is expected to return and start at left-back, while Son Heung-min and Dejan Kulusevski will support Furuhashi on either side of him. Rodrigo Bentancur, who is rehabbing from surgery, was also expected to be a key player in the midfield when he returns in November.
