Si-Woo Kim and Byung-Hoon Ahn are tied for seventh place after the first round of the Charles Schwab Challenge on the U.S. Professional Golf (PGA) Tour ($8.7 million purse).
Kim carded five birdies and two bogeys for a 3-under 67 in the first round at the par-70 Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, on Saturday morning (Aug. 26). Ahn Byung-hoon also made five birdies and two bogeys to finish in a tie for seventh place with Kim Si-woo.
Kim and Byung-hoon Ahn started their match on the 10th hole. Kim reeled off three straight birdies on the 10th and 12th holes, while Byung-hun Ahn reeled off four straight birdies on the 11th and 14th holes to move into the top 10.
