Gabe Vincent (26-Miami Heat) is out.
Vincent has been ruled out of Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics on Saturday with an ankle sprain, according to The Athletic’s Shams Canary.
Vincent, who is averaging 17.5 points per game in the Eastern Conference Finals, sprained his ankle in the fourth quarter of Game 4 but returned to the game after taping it. In a postgame interview, Vincent said he would play in Game 5, but was ultimately ruled out.
Vincent has been a threatening pull-up jumper and solid defender in this series, so his absence will be a big blow for Miami.
“Kyle Lowry is going to start and Vincent’s absence is going to weigh heavily on us,” head coach Erik Spoelstra said in a pregame interview.토토사이트
While Miami has Lowry in the cards, they’ll be relying on Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo to carry the load. Adebayo took an active role in the first round of the playoffs against the Milwaukee Bucks when he drove Brook Lopez out of the paint.
Meanwhile, down 1-3 in the series, Boston will be looking to turn things around with a win tonight.
