“I’m sure the players know it. We will prepare and try to beat them all.”

Dongguk University, led by Lee Ho-geun, won 80-70 on the road against Myeongji University in the 2023 KUSF University Basketball U-League regular season at Myeongji’s Natural Campus Gymnasium on Nov. 8.

After the game, Lee Ho-geun said, “We have two games left, and if we lost this game, we couldn’t look at the playoffs. I emphasized these things to the team, and I think it went well,” Lee said after the win.

The only disappointing aspect of the victory was the rebounding. Dongguk University gave up 22 offensive rebounds, which gave them a chance to catch up and earn a hard-fought victory.

Coach Lee Ho-geun said, “We practice rebounding for 30 to 40 minutes in practice. I think the players are still lacking a lot. In the end, basketball is won by grabbing a lot of (rebounds), and I’m sure the players know that.”

Despite being outrebounded (35-42), Dongguk University managed to limit June Harrigan to six points from the floor. “I think (Lee) Dae-gyun and the other players did a good job of playing a lot of different types of defense, including help defense,” said Lee.토토사이트

With the win, Dongguk University improved to 4-8 and moved within one game of the seventh place group. They have to pin their hopes on the remaining two games. “I think the next game against Kyung Hee University will be the most important game of the season,” said Lee Ho-geun. The players know that. We will prepare and try to win all of them.”
